Seneca Program: Real Property Administration (Assessment and Appraisal)

Degree: Bachelor of Business in Real Estate (BBRE)

Graduates of the CRPA may be granted up to 24 credits (General Education, Real Estate Core and Real Estate Specialty) towards the BBRE degree. To be eligible for a UBC BBRE, students must successfully complete at least 60 credits directly with UBC. These credits must satisfy certain degree requirements, including General Education courses (21 credits), General Business courses (39 credits), Real Estate Core courses (27 credits), Real Estate Specialty courses (15 credits) and 18 credits of Unspecified Electives.

To satisfy the General Business component requirement of this BBRE degree, some of the upper-level Business courses must be taken on campus at UBC. The remaining UBC BBRE Real Estate Core, Specialty and Elective courses are delivered by distance through the UBC Real Estate Division. The General Education and lower-level Business courses of the UBC BBRE may be completed online through Thompson Rivers University (TRU) – Open Learning or with other approved postsecondary providers. TRU also offers the Bachelor of Real Estate Management (BREM) for those wishing to complete their remaining degree requirements by distance.
