Seneca Program: Civil Engineering Technology
Degree: Bachelor of Technology, Civil Engineering Infrastructure Technology
Graduates of this three-year diploma program with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 or 75-77% are eligible for admission, and 60 units (two years) worth of advanced standing are awarded at the time of admission.
A flexible evening and weekend class schedule allows students to work while they study, either in an existing career path or in a co-op work term organized with help from the McMaster Faculty of Engineering Co-op and Career Services. Students who are working full-time should not take more than two or three courses per term, while others may take up to five courses per term (Note: there are three terms per year). There are 24 required courses to complete the degree.
