Brantford Campus

To be considered for full-time admissions to the second year of an Arts program, graduates must have a 75% or higher cumulative average and 60% in 4U English or equivalent. They will automatically receive six transfer credits (five credits equals one year of study). Students with an average of 70 to 74.9% are also eligible for admission, but the transfer credit assessment will be done on a case-by-case basis. Waterloo Campus

To be considered for full-time admissions to the first- or second-year of an Arts program, graduates must have a 75% or higher cumulative average (or an average of 75% or higher in their last two semesters) and 60% in a 4U English or equivalent. Students with an average of 70% or higher can be considered for part-time studies. To be considered for a Science program, students must present the required high school courses. The transfer credit assessment will depend on the program and applicability of courses and will be on a case-by-case basis. For further information, visit Transfer to Laurier.

Degree: Honours Bachelor of Arts

To be considered for full-time admissions to the second year of an Arts program, graduates must have a 75% or higher cumulative average and 60% in a 4U English or equivalent. They will automatically receive 7.5 transfer credits (five credits equals one year of study). Students with an average of 70 to 74.9% are still eligible for full-time admission, however the transfer credit assessment will be done on a case-by-case basis. Waterloo Campus

Seneca Program: Social Service Worker, Social Service Worker – Immigrants & Refugees, Social Service Worker – Gerontology

Degree: Honours Bachelor of Social Work

Graduates from an accredited Canadian College Social Service Work (SSW) program can apply as transfer students to Laurier’s Bachelor of Social Work degree program. To be considered for admission, graduates from a SSW program must achieve a minimum overall average of 75% and a minimum 60% in a 4U English course or equivalent. Please note, this is a competitive entry program and a higher admission average may be required. Students are encouraged to aim for an overall average of around 80 to 82%. Seneca Program: Child & Youth Care

Degree: Honours Bachelor of Social Work

Graduates from an accredited Canadian College Child & Youth Care (CYC) program can apply as transfer students to Laurier’s Bachelor of Social Work degree program. To be considered for admission, graduates from a CYC program must achieve a minimum overall average of 75% and a minimum 60% in a 4U English course or equivalent. Please note, this is a competitive entry program, and a higher admission average may be required. Students are encouraged to aim for an overall average of around 80 to 82%. Waterloo Campus

Graduates with a cumulative average of 75% or higher and a minimum of 60% in a 4U English or equivalent are eligible for admission to Laurier’s Faculty of Arts. Students will receive 6.0 transfer credits towards their degree and can take a variety of courses within the Faculty of Arts and determine their major at the end of their first year at Laurier. Degree: Honours Bachelor of Arts in Public Safety

Delivery: Part-Time and Online Only

The Honours Bachelor of Arts in Public Safety (BAPS) is uniquely designed for college graduates from a public safety-related program. To be considered for admission to the BAPS program, students must have a minimum admission average of 75% from an approved diploma program and a minimum of 60% in 4U English or the college equivalent. Admitted students will be granted 10.0 transfer credits towards the BAPS program (a standard degree at Laurier consists of 20.0 credits in total).
