The University of Windsor has plenty of pathways available for students transferring from college. Whether a student has completed a two- or three-year program, or are looking to transfer a few courses, the University of Windsor has options. Seneca students will be granted credit for University of Windsor courses in recognition of academic course work completed if the course work is deemed to be equivalent.
Applicants who have completed a minimum of one year of a College of Applied Arts and Technology (CAAT) diploma program that is academic in nature with a minimum cumulative average of “B” (3.0 GPA) at the CAAT will be considered for admission to first year of an appropriate program. Applicants who have graduated from a three-year CAAT program that is academic in nature with a minimum cumulative average of “B” (3.0 GPA) at the CAAT will be considered for admission to second year of an appropriate program.

Degree: Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Social Work
Graduates may receive transfer credit for up to 10 courses (one year). Credit is awarded for approved courses with a minimum grade of 3.0 (70%).

Degree: Bachelor of Computer Science (General) or Bachelor of Computer Science (Honours Applied Computing)
Graduates with a minimum 3.0 GPA are eligible, within 10 years of graduation, to apply for admission to a degree program offered by the School of Computer Science at the University of Windsor and may receive transfer credit for up to 15 semester courses (1.5 years of advanced standing).

Graduates with a minimum 3.0 GPA are eligible, within 10 years of graduation, to apply for admission to a degree program offered by the School of Computer Science at the University of Windsor and may receive transfer credit for up to eight transfer credits
Seneca Program:
Child & Youth Care
Degree: BA Honours in Disability Studies, Psychology, Social Work
Graduates of all Ontario College Child and Youth Care diploma programs completed in 1996 or later with a cumulative average equivalent to a “B” (73%) or better will be eligible for entry into Disability Studies and Psychology Degree Completion Programs for CYC Graduates and are eligible to apply for entry into the Honours Bachelor of Social Work for CYC Graduates. Completion of these programs will normally require three semesters of full-time study (for General BA degree completion programs) or four semesters of full-time study (for Honours BA and BSW degree completion programs).

Early Childhood Education
Degree: BA or BSW in the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Science
Students who have completed the diploma in Early Childhood Education with an overall average of at least “B” (3.0 GPA) will normally receive a minimum of 10 course equivalents towards a BA or BSW degree in the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences.

Degree: BA or BSW in the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences
Students who have completed the Child & Youth Care diploma program with a cumulative average grade of “B” (3.0 GPA) or better will normally receive a minimum of 15 university credits towards a BA or BSW degree in the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences.

Social Service Worker
Degree: BA or BSW in the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences
Students who have completed a Social Service Worker diploma program recognized by and making them eligible for registration with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers with a cumulative average grade of “B” (3.0/70%) or better will normally receive a minimum of 10 university credits towards a BA degree or BSW degree in the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences.

Environmental Technician
Degree: Bachelor of Science in Applied Environmental Science
Seneca graduates with a minimum “B” average (3.0 GPA) are eligible for this pathway. Students and will need to complete 20 courses (two years) to obtain the degree. Students must also have completed MHF4U, SCH4U and SBI4U (students who have not completed the high school requirements will be required to complete the equivalent courses within the Foundations of Science program).

Degree: Honours Bachelor of Arts in Economics (Applied Economics and Policy Stream)
Seneca graduates with a minimum “B” average (73%) are eligible for this pathway. Students will need to complete 23 courses to obtain the degree. Students must also have completed MHF4U or equivalent (students who have not completed the high school requirements will be required to complete the equivalent courses within the Foundations of Science program).

Degree: Honours Bachelor of Arts in Economics (Applied Economics and Policy Stream)
Seneca graduates with a minimum “B” average (73%) are eligible for this pathway. Students who have not completed MHF4U will be required to complete the equivalent course within the Foundations of Science Preparation Program. Successful applicants to this Degree Completion program will receive two years of advanced standing (19 credits) and will need to complete an additional 21 courses to receive the degree.

Degree: Bachelor of Arts in Forensics and Criminology (Applied Forensic Stream)
Seneca graduates with a minimum “B” average (73%) are eligible for this pathway. Students are required to have successfully completed MHF4U and SBI4U or equivalent and if not will be required to complete these courses within the Foundations of Science Preparation Program. Successful applicants will receive two years of advanced standing (20 transfer credits) and will be required to complete 21 courses for the degree.
