Personal Support Worker (Accelerated) (PSW)

About the Program
The Ontario government is investing funds that will increase personal support worker training to fill high demand jobs in Ontario's health-care sector.
This new accelerated Personal Support Worker (PSW) program includes no tuition fee and will prepare you to enter the workforce as a PSW in just six months. You will graduate into a sector where your skills are in demand across various health, long-term care and private settings. You will be ready to provide much-needed care and assistance to clients of all ages that helps them live dignified, fulfilling lives.
The curriculum will follow a hybrid model with the majority of learning online. You will be provided with volunteer opportunities early in the program and participate in a paid work placement.
The tuition fees and learning expenses for this program are being covered by the Ontario government. Applications are open to domestic students only.
Applicants can choose from three start dates: April 5, May 10 or June 14:
