When you graduate from this program, these are the types of career options that you can explore:
At Seneca, we develop new programs to respond to the needs of employers and the changes of an evolving labour market.
Seneca’s new, proposed Honours Bachelor of Design in Interactive Media program will equip graduates with in-demand knowledge and skills for the growing field of user experience (UX). The program will focus on business skills along with the technical and design capabilities needed to create dynamic interactive experiences in video games, mobile apps and other online environments. Emphasis will also be placed on entrepreneurial skills and, in the fourth year of the program, students will work on a final capstone project about launching an idea from inception.
A co-op work-integrated learning experience will provide students the opportunity to expand their knowledge and apply their skills to real-life work settings.
This program is currently pending ministry approval with its first start planned for January 2022.
