About the Program

Seneca has partnered with Microsoft Canada and RBC to deliver a Microsoft Azure Fundamentals Accelerated Workshop that will strengthen and foster your digital skills. This free workshop offers eight hours of instruction in two formats: one-day workshop (eight hours) and two-day workshop (four hours per day).

The curriculum will focus primarily on artificial intelligence (AI), productivity tools, data and cloud computing. You will be provided with foundational-level knowledge on cloud concepts and core Azure services, including security, privacy, compliance and trust.

Your Career

This workshop will prepare you for Microsoft Azure’s AZ-900 certification exam. You may write the exam online (for free) through Seneca’s Test Centre.

Following this workshop, you are invited to pursue other role-based courses and certifications (such as Azure Administrator) or other relevant technology programs and courses offered through Seneca.


What is a microcredential?

A microcredential recognizes your learning for specific skills or competencies and is issued in the form of a digital badge. Data embedded in the badge identifies the institution that issued it, along with the competencies, evidence and criteria that was required to earn it. Earners can display their badges on social media sites, electronic portfolios and resumés.



To be eligible to write your Microsoft Azure AZ-900 certification exam, please reach out to the test centre within one week of completing your workshop at to schedule. Exams are scheduled Tuesday to Friday at 3:45 p.m. EST with limited Saturday and Sunday times available.

You will study using the Faculty of Continuing Education & Training’s Online Virtual Classroom delivery format.

You will receive a comprehensive educational experience through virtual lab training, demos and lectures taught by knowledgeable instructors.
