Awards Open for Application  

Tuition Assistance Bursary applications for the winter term are open until Feb. 15, 2020 for students who have not yet applied. The deadline is Feb. 15, 2020.

The following bursaries are now open:

Indigenous Student Bursary

Eligibility Criteria

  • you must self-identify as an Indigenous person in Canada. For the purposes of this bursary, an Indigenous person in Canada is considered those who reported being an Aboriginal person, that is, First Nations, Métis or Inuk (Inuit)
  • you must meet the Canadian citizenship and Ontario residency requirements as outlined 
  • you must be enrolled full time or part time at Seneca for the current 2019-2020 academic year of study
  • you must have a financial need that exceeds the value of the bursary ($1,000)
  • you must complete the financial needs eligibility requirement

Ontario First Generation Bursary

Eligibility Criteria

  • you must be a student whose parents did not attend any postsecondary studies, full time or part time, in or outside of Canada, at any time, in any program 
  • you must meet the Canadian citizenship and Ontario residency requirements as outlined 
  • you must be enrolled full time or part time at Seneca for the current 2019-2020 academic year of study
  • you must have a financial need that exceeds the value of the bursary ($1,000)
  • you must complete the financial needs eligibility requirement

Heather Sako Memorial Bursary

Awarded to one full-time student enrolled in the English Language Institute. Eligible applicants must be in good academic standing and demonstrate financial need.
