Barnabas is a 12-year veteran of the animation industry. He is an animator and animation director specializing in writing and directing story on character-driven comedic cartoons. Barnabas is one of the co-founders and current chair of Toronto's premiere animation festival TAAFI, the Toronto Animation Arts Festival International. He programs speakers for the festival and created the Animation Arts Market. Barnabas teaches in both Seneca's Animation and Illustration streams, and co-ordinates and wrote the 3rd year 2D ANIT stream. He is also currently working on his master’s at Bournemouth University in England and wrote and directed a cartoon about postmodernism.
