Leo Jung

Graphic Design

“When I was in my last years of high school, I knew I wanted to do something creative, but I didn’t know what it would be. I really didn’t know what design was, or what kinds of career paths I could take in design. It was a wonderful jump back into creativity that opened up the right side of my brain. It was completely eye-opening and mind-opening, and I had some great teachers.”

Leo Jung is a graduate of Seneca’s Graphic Design program and now the Creative Director of San Francisco’s The California Sunday Magazine. Previously, he was the design director at Wired magazine and deputy art director at The New York Times Magazine. He’s been recognized by the Art Directors Club, Type Directors Club, the Society of News Design and the Society of Publication Designers. Recently, Leo’s work on The California Sunday Magazine’s April cover was recognized by TIME Magazine as it made their list of top 10 covers of 2015. Leo has served on Seneca’s program advisory committee to ensure Graphic Design programs are relevant to industry, business and society.
