Growing up in Richmond Hill, Rob spent his childhood watching cartoons, and now he’s making them. For the last five years, he has been working as a senior animator and director for Arc Productions, a Canadian-based CG animation and visual effects company. Rob started at the company on a one-year contract after his professor presented Rob’s demo reel to management, and he’s been there ever since. Rob is the creator and director of the multiple award-winning animated short Ormie (to be made into a feature film with Alcon Entertainment), and worked extensively on Gnomeo & Juliet and the Tim Burton produced animated film 9.
