Taylor is a self-taught guitar player and vocalist from Toronto. Realizing a passion and unique sound, she became entrenched in the musical arts and attended Seneca to develop her craft. In 2011, she was awarded a grant from FACTOR (The Foundation Assisting Canadian Talent on Recordings) to produce her first demo CD called Wake Up. Just two years later, Taylor received another honour as the inaugural winner of the Canada’s Walk of Fame/RBC Emerging Artist Music Mentorship Program. She received a cash prize of $25,000 and performed at the Canada’s Walk of Fame 15th Anniversary Inductee Charity Ball.
