Kome is a double Senecan, holding graduate certificates in Public Relations – Corporate Communications and Government Relations. Upon graduation, Kome secured a position with the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) in central Africa as a communications adviser. In this role, he worked to promote The Green Heart of Africa Global Initiative – which strives to protect and sustainably manage the Congo basin’s delicate ecosystems while satisfying central Africa’s pressing development needs. Kome recently returned to Canada and is the communications services co-ordinator for Ontario’s Ministry of Transportation. Kome is also a member of the International Public Relations Association (IPRA) and the Public Affairs Association of Canada.
