Curtis is a Professor in the School of English and Liberal studies at Seneca, King Campus. At Seneca, he started as a personal/accessibility counsellor for the college. He earned his PhD in clinical psychology at Rutgers University in New Jersey, and is a registered psychologist in Ontario. Curtis’ teaching interests include addictive behaviours, mental health, research methods, and religion and culture in Canada. His primary research interests are in the field of occupational health and safety. Specifically, he is interested in factors increasing the risk of occupational injury among young and new workers.
