Irene is a professor and co-ordinator in the School of English and Liberal Studies at Seneca where, for almost thirty years, she has taught and developed a variety of English courses ranging from composition to literature electives. She holds a BA (Honours) and MA in English language and literature from the University of Toronto. Irene’s students and collaborative partnerships with colleagues continue to be the energizing force behind her work, inspiring research projects such as the use of tablets in the English classroom and collaborative projects such as The Story Board at S@Y, an interactive gallery of student work that celebrates the relationship between image, text and the imagination.
