Mark teaches history in the Liberal Arts University Transfer program and in Seneca’s Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies degree program. He is the author of Guardians of the Moral Order (2004), a history of the late 19th-century U.S. Supreme Court, and of several peer-reviewed history articles. Mark taught at several Canadian colleges and universities before joining Seneca in 2004. At Seneca, his teaching has focused on the histories of Western and world civilizations, both core subjects in the Liberal Arts diploma and Interdisciplinary Studies degree programs. Mark believes in the value of history in encouraging life-long learning and creating literate, informed, and socially engaged citizens.
