English and Liberal Studies Courses

Shannon has taught English at Seneca since 2013. Prior to college teaching, she worked as the arts co-ordinator at the Evergreen Centre for Street Youth. She also worked in theatre as a playwright and director, as well as a community arts facilitator. Shannon has been fortunate to partner with a number of community groups, most extensively Sanctuary Toronto, a drop-in centre for street-involved adults. Shannon has had her plays performed with Buddies in Bad Times, Nightwood Theatre, and Theatre Passe Muraille. She has also published short fiction and non-fiction pieces. Shannon has a master’s in English from the University of Toronto with a specialization in Canadian and Renaissance theatre.
