Africa film fest to showcase professor's documentary

Living As Brothers has been selected to be screened at the Africa World Documentary Film Festival (AWDFF).

The feature-length documentary is written and directed by Professor Kevin Fraser, School of English and Liberal Studies, and examines the lives of Jamaican migrant workers who play a key role in Niagara’s farming community.

Following their lives both in Canada and back home in Jamaica, Living as Brothers tells the personal stories of men who spend up to nine months a year away from their families.

Living as Brothers is one of only 29 films selected to be part of AWDFF and will be screened in Barbados, Jamaica, South Africa and Philadelphia.
