Geraldine Heaney is headed into Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame.
The Recreation Facilities Management graduate will be one of eight new members to be officially inducted on October 22 in Toronto.
Geraldine is often referred to as the “Bobby Orr of women’s hockey” and helped put the sport on the map. Last year, she joined former teammate and fellow Seneca alumna Angela James as one of only three females to be inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame.
Her latest honour is featured in the North York Mirror.
