Virtual OneCard FAQ

The Virtual OneCard mobile app provides you with an easier way to access your Seneca ID.

Instructions on downloading and navigating through the app can be found in the Virtual OneCard Guide.

At the moment the Virtual OneCard can be used to access your Seneca ID with other services being rolled out at a later date. Check out the up-to-date list of OneCard services.

If you are currently in Canada but get this notification message, change your phone location to Canada. You can find instructions to change your country location on a Google Play or Apple device online.

We are working to fix this system-wide issue. In the meantime, please email onecard@senecacollege.ca with your name and Seneca ID number. Once we receive your email, we will be able to help you with this issue.

On the Gotmycard app, enable NFC/Tap and NFC. You will be able to enable this in your settings by clicking the gear icon in the top-left corner of your app. Location privileges must also be granted to the Gotmycard app.

If you are not able to use the Virtual OneCard, please fill out a request for a physical OneCard online. Requests will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
