Use Your Parking Pass

Newnham Campus has a new licence-plate-recognition software. To park please register your licence plate and purchase a parking plan, visit the parking web app.

Use Pay-as-you-go

Pay for daily parking through Honk (Zone 3800), a mobile payment system.

Rates and Plans

Students, employees and visitors have the following options to pay for daily parking. The chart below lists the types of parking passes and prices.

A parking pass is a payment and access mechanism only and does not guarantee an available parking spot on campus.

Pay-as-you-go using Honk (Zone 3800), the mobile payment system.

Evening Pass

Allows for unlimited in-and-out access for the evenings the pass is purchased.
Valid from 5 p.m. to 11:59 p.m. Can be purchased by using Honk (Zone 3800), the mobile payment system.
$4.75/evening*

Daily Rate

Valid from 6 a.m. to 11:59 p.m.
Can be purchased by using Honk (Zone 3800), the mobile payment system.

$3/hour

Valid on weekdays from 5 p.m. to 11:59 p.m.

Withdrawal from a semester plan

The owner of a parking pass can withdraw from the plan at any time before it expires.

Upon withdrawal, the full cost of the pass, less $35 for each week will be refunded to the user’s original method of payment.

Notice for Lot 1, 2 and 3  

Short-term parking Lot 2, directly north of Building A, should not be used if you are working on campus or attending classes. This area requires payment at the machine in the parking lot and for the receipt to be displayed in your vehicle. The rate is $4 per half-hour with no daily maximum.

Lots 1 and 3 are designated as employee parking on weekdays during the day.


*Please note that individuals parking in a Seneca parking lot do so that their own risk. Seneca, its agents and employees are not responsible for loss or damage to any vehicle or its contents, however caused. Do not leave valuable items in your vehicle.
