Guangzhou Civil Aviation College

Seneca’s partnership with Guangzhou Civil Aviation College is a 3+2 degree completion program. This opportunity may allow you to complete a three-year diploma program at GCAC in China, and then come to Seneca to earn an Honours Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies in two years.

Application Process

GCAC provides Seneca with a list of eligible students. This list is received by Seneca on an annual basis before May 1. Pathway students will then complete an offline application form provided by Seneca’s International Mobility Office.

Letter of Admission

Upon completing the offline application process, accepted students receive a Seneca student ID. Within one month of the successful completion of your online application, you will receive an official Letter of Admission from the International Mobility co-ordinator.

You will also receive important information and resources on housing, immigration requirements, health insurance, airport pickup, and international student orientation.

English Proficiency

You must meet the admission requirements for your Seneca program. Upon arrival at Seneca, you may need to take an English proficiency test at Seneca’s English Language Institute (ELI). If you have an IELTS score of less than 6.5, you will study English at ELI until your language requirement is fulfilled.

Credit Transfer

The International Mobility Office will facilitate the credit transfer process on behalf of each pathway student. Upon successful completion of this process, approved courses will be reflected on your Seneca online Student Home.

Course Enrolment

The International Mobility Office will confirm your enrolment with your Seneca program co-ordinator and adviser. You are expected to meet your adviser within the first week of your semester to confirm your course enrolment and academic progression plan as per the pathway agreement. This confirmation will take place through an academic progression plan signed by you and your adviser.

Note

If any changes are made to your class timetable, the academic progression plan must be updated. The pathway student and program co-ordinator must sign the updated academic progression plan within 10 days of the beginning of the semester.
