International Admissions FAQ

Seneca continues to accept applications for the May semester, that will start on Tuesday, May 19. We will only grant admission to those applicants who are already in Canada and have a valid study permit. The programs being offered will be online only. Please apply online through the International Student Web Application portal located on our How to Apply page.

International students whose programs are being offered during the summer term are advised to complete the term in Canada, even though classes will be conducted online. According to current regulations, any portion of the program that students complete abroad may be deducted from a future work permit. Please know that this information is accurate as of today. Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) is yet to announce further updates on regulations affected by COVID-19.

We encourage you to continue monitoring Seneca’s COVID-19 site for  updates. Please also visit the IRCC website for updates on travel restrictions.

During these uncertain times of COVID-19, we are awaiting further clarification from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada on whether online delivery of programs for new students in the May term will impact eligibility in obtaining a PGWP. Please check back often for timely updates on these and other matters related to COVID-19.
