Darcy Dupuis English and Liberal Studies Courses
Darcy received his MA and PhD in applied social psychology from the University of Guelph and his BA in psychology from Lakehead University. Following his PhD studies, Darcy completed a SSHRC Postdoctoral Fellowship at Carleton University and taught at the University of Ottawa. He has published research on group processes and intergroup relations, pro-environmental motivation, and psychological consequences of social status deficits. Although Darcy teaches across the field of psychology, he is most fascinated by the ways we are influenced by our social contexts. Darcy seeks to encourage student autonomy and create opportunities for students to think deeply about questions that are meaningful to their own lives and future careers.
