In-country International Start at Seneca Polytechnic in Sept. 2024 Incentive

The following terms and conditions apply to Seneca Polytechnic’s new In-country International Start at Seneca Polytechnic in Sept. 2024 incentive. This incentive is designed for applicants who apply to Seneca during the incentive period and have a valid study permit at time of application or current international students taking a second (or subsequent) program at Seneca, within two terms of completing their first program.

The “In-country International Start at Seneca Polytechnic in Sept. 2024 Incentive”, begins on Saturday, April 20 at 9 a.m. and ends on Sunday, April 21 at 11:59 p.m.

Participants who may be eligible for this incentive are international applicants currently living in Canada with a valid study permit at the time of application who apply to a full-time Seneca program starting in Sept. 2024*.

In addition, participants must receive an offer of admission from Seneca (Letter of Admission or LOA), confirm their offer of admission and pay the required fees to be eligible.

Current Seneca students or those transferring from another Designated Learning Institute (DLI) who are currently living in Canada with a valid study permit at time of application can also participate.

*If a participant defers their application to another intake, they will no longer be eligible for the incentive.

• Valid for postsecondary programs that are two years or longer in length
• Programs must start in Sept. 2024
• Not available for programs offered through the English Language Institute (ELI)

Participants do not need to apply separately for this incentive.

To be considered, participants must apply to a full-time program at Seneca through the IWA during the incentive period, receive an offer of admission (LOA), confirm their offer of admission and pay the required fees. Participants must also upload a valid study permit at the time of application.

The incentive will be assessed upon application and awarded to registered students (after Day 10) based on available seats and who meet all eligibility requirements.

All final decisions will be at discretion of Seneca’s Admissions team. 

Those who are eligible may receive prioritized admission to Seneca and an admissions incentive valued at $1,000. A limited number of incentives will be awarded.

The $1,000 incentive will be posted to the student’s online Seneca account after Day 10 of the Fall 2024 term.

• Value per incentive = $1,000 CDN
• No cash alternative or substitution will be provided, except that Seneca, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to substitute the incentive for another item of equal or greater value for any reason.

The incentive will be applied to the student’s online Seneca account after Day 10 of the Fall 2024 term.

Note: For the incentive to be awarded, the student must add their Social Insurance Number (SIN) to their Student Home portal by Day 10.
