International Apply to Start at Seneca Polytechnic in 2024/2025 Contest

The Open House “International Apply to Start at Seneca Polytechnic in 2024/2025 Contest”, which is sponsored by Seneca Polytechnic, begins on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at 9 a.m. and closes on Sunday, April 21, 2024 at 11:59 p.m.

Eligible participants are international applicants who apply to a full-time certificate, diploma, advanced diploma, graduate certificate or degree program at Seneca during the promotion period for the academic terms beginning May or September 2024 or January 2025.

Participants must subsequently receive an offer of admission, confirm their offer and pay their fees by the respective deadline to be eligible.

Promotion is open only to full-time students who at the time of entry will be at least 17 years of age; or 19 years of age or over (a Mature Student). Entering the promotion is free. All participants agree to abide by these rules and all decisions of Seneca, which are final in all matters relating to this promotion.

To enter, participants must submit a completed application through the International Web App (IWA) to a full-time Seneca program for May or September 2024 or January 2025 during the promotion period. Participants must subsequently receive an offer of admission, confirm their offer and pay their fees to participate.

Seneca will not be responsible for any supplementary fees. Furthermore, the submission of an application does not guarantee a Seneca offer of admission; all final decisions will be at discretion of Seneca’s Admissions team.

Those who are eligible have a chance to win $500 on a Seneca OneCard. Four prizes in total are available to be won.  

There will be one OneCard prize for those starting in May 2024; two OneCard prizes for those starting in September 2024 and one OneCard prize for those starting in January 2025.

• ARV (Approximate Retail Value) per prize = $500 CDN
• No cash alternative or substitution will be provided, except that Seneca, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize for another item of equal or greater value for any reason.
• The $500 OneCard credits will be issued when the participants become students (by approx. Day 10 of the respective term).

Four winners will be selected in three random draws taking place on May 13, 2024; September 9, 2024 and January 13, 2025 from among all eligible entries received by Seneca for that intake. The first entry drawn on each date, for which the entrant satisfies the eligibility criteria, will receive the OneCard prize valued at $500.

The selected entrants will be contacted by email or telephone at the address/ number provided in their application to Seneca.

The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

If for any reason the promotion is not capable of running as planned, including tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of Seneca which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, Seneca reserves the right at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion.

Seneca reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the promotion (including, but not limited to, any non-human mechanism, entity) to be acting in violation of the Official Rules or to be acting in an unfair or disruptive manner or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. Any person attempting to defraud or in any way tamper with the promotion will not be eligible.
