Seneca College first to integrate top social marketing suite into curriculum

New social media program partners with industry leading social measurement company

Toronto, August 27, 2013 – Seneca is one of the first postsecondary institutions in North America to provide students with a competitive edge by integrating the Salesforce Marketing Cloud training into its unique Social Media Graduate Certificate program.

Students will learn the ins-and-outs of’s industry-leading social media marketing applications. The Salesforce Marketing Cloud allows businesses to harness the power of social media by listening to customers, publishing engaging content and advertising to reach new audiences.

After completing Seneca’s social media program, students will be eligible to write the Salesforce Marketing Cloud certification exam. Armed with this industry-recognized certification, Seneca grads will be highly desirable to employers. According to a recent analysis by, a global job search engine, there has been a spike in recruiters looking for employees with specific social media skill sets.
