Ken Kwong-Kay Wong is a Professor at Seneca Polytechnic who has taught marketing and retail management for more than a decade. Dr. Wong served as the program co-ordinator for BAM and BMRK at Seneca Polytechnic from 2015 to 2018. In 2020, he co-founded the EdTech start-up Presentria to make inclusive teaching and learning a reality. Dr. Wong is the recipient of the 2020 Minister of Colleges and Universities' Award of Excellence for his dedication to students and the broader postsecondary sector during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Prior to his experience at Seneca Polytechnic, Dr. Wong worked as an assistant professor of retail management at Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) and served as a U21Global marketing professor and subject area co-ordinator for its MBA program. He was a visiting professor at Aalto University (Finland), Hult International Business School (U.S.), Nyenrode Business Universiteit (Netherlands), International School of Management (France) and the COTRUGLI Business School (Croatia).

Dr. Wong’s research examines luxury brands and customer experience management. Teaching experience aside, he is also a published author whose work has appeared in several journals and textbooks. Prior to entering the academic field, Dr. Wong was the vice-president of marketing at TeraGo Networks and held progressive product marketing roles at PSINet, Sprint Canada and TELUS Mobility.

Dr. Wong holds a DBA from the University of Newcastle (Australia), an MBA from Nyenrode Business Universiteit (Netherlands) and a B.Sc. from the University of Toronto. He was certified by the American Marketing Association (AMA) in 2002 as a Professional Certified Marketer (PCM).
