Through the HELIX Catalyst Fund, micro grants are awarded to HELIXers in the ACCELERATION Strand to help them at any stage of their business, from validating their idea to launching or scaling.
This funding can be used for a range of activities, including building a website, launching products, purchasing raw materials, advertising new products or conducting market testing.

Afro Women and Youth Foundation (AWYF)
AWYF offers leadership development, mentorship and empowerment programs to immigrant women and youth of African origin through advocacy, capacity-building programs and collaborations with relevant stakeholders.
Funding goal: website and anti-racism training modules

Beaut is proud to partner with Water First to support water preservation in Indigenous communities while also practising water conservation with its rinse-free dry shampoo.

Progoti is all about clothing for social impact — individual life and pension policies for garment workers in Bangladesh funded through clothing sales.
Funding goal: photo shoots for fall and winter clothing line

Vidar Licensing
Vidar designs and produces unique basketball shoes for players who want both performance and style on and off the court.
Funding goal: development of Vidar's midsole/outsole mold and production ready sneaker prototype
