Planning for Retirement

More Information

Overview

Retirement planning is not a one size fits all exercise, but most Canadians do very little personal planning at all to ensure they are ready. This course helps quantify the considerations of retirement and how to prepare for them early on, a few years before, and even during retirement. It will provide insights on how to build a proper retirement portfolio, prepare a budget and cash flow projections, identify and quantify sources of government income such as CPP, OAS and GIS. It will also discuss the Canadian personal tax system and items to consider for enjoying a more prosperous retirement. People are generally aware that they need to prepare for retirement but are unsure where and how to start. This course will demystify retirement planning and clarify your road map.

Those interested in expanding their knowledge and understanding of investing strategies are encourage to learn more about our Personal Investing courses.
