Overview

These seminars are designed to make your experience at Seneca a real success.  These three-hour informal seminars are developed to enhance your student, professional and personal life, while enabling you to meet with other students in a relaxed setting. 

We cannot accommodate children in the classroom.

Entry Requirements

You must be a current registered Continuing Education student or Seneca Alumni to participate.  Success Seminars are funded in part through the part-time student administrative fee

True Colours recognizes that the need for success differs in each of us. The colour symbols used in our program are synonymous with the need for self-confidence, pride, respect, worthiness and esteem. These characteristics are the catalysts for successful behaviour. Presence and clothing is a silent yet powerful language, yet many of us are not skilled communications. Information presented in class often contains the central concepts of a course and the material most likely to be included on exams. Selecting the right information when listening and note taking will lead to better marks. These important skills can be applied to taking notes at meetings. This practical workshop will provide tips on how to recall more information through active listening and purposeful note taking.

Although we all work in teams, quite often our teams are operating well below their potential.
