Teaching Opportunities at Seneca College

Seneca College will be offering a wide range of "Early Morning" classes starting in January 2016. These "Early Morning" courses will run from 7:00 am to 8:30 am, one morning a week for 14 weeks. The weekly format for these classes is 1.5 hours in-class with the remainder delivered online. We are currently recruiting for instructors who are "early risers" and qualified to teach the following topics:


  • Accounting (applicants must have CPA designation)
  • Business Law (applicants must have a law degree)
  • Business Software Applications (Excel, Access, Sage50, Quickbooks, ACCPAC)

Minimum qualifications: M.A.in English or related writing-centred discipline; 5+ years teaching experience at a post-secondary level. TESL Certificate an asset.

Building Environmental Systems Program

Seneca College is recruiting instructors with experience in the field of Building Environmental Systems Operations or Management to teach part-time in our BES Class II Accelerated Certificate Program starting in the Fall of 2016. Interested applicants must be available to teach evenings and/or weekends.

Priority will be given to applicants with the following:

  • Recent work experience
  • A broad understanding of careers in the field
  • A BES or BOMA designation
  • Experience teaching in a post-secondary environment or equivalent
  • Ability to guide and mentor students.
