English and Literature

ENGLISH COMPOSITION & Grammar
Minimum qualifications: M.A.in English or related writing-centred discipline; 5+ years teaching experience at a post-secondary level. TESL Certificate an asset.

ENGLISH LITERATURE
Minimum qualifications: M.A. English Literature – Ph.D. preferred; 5+ years teaching experience at a post-secondary level.

TECHNICAL WRITING
Minimum qualifications: M.Ed. (Adult Education) or M.A. English; 5+ years of industry-related training or teaching at a post-secondary level in Technical Writing.

Applicants must have completed a PHD in the selected subject area. Priority will be given to those applicants with experience teaching in post-secondary environments. Part-time TESL teacher at Seneca College

A TESL teacher to teach one evening per week in the Winter Term.

School: Seneca College (Continuing Education)

Number of hours/week: 3
Course schedule: Wednesday evenings; Jan. 21 – April 22 (7:00 – 10:00 pm)

Qualifications:

  • a Master's degree in Applied Linguistics, Second Language Education, Linguistics, TESOL etc.
  • Many years of experience teaching ESL/EFL
  • Knowledge of the relevant TESL course
