Health Sciences

CPR

The Health Science portfolio of Continuing Education invites applications for CPR instructors. Applicants must possess Toronto EMS Safe City First Aid / CPR Instructors must have a current Toronto EMS Instructors teaching certificate that qualifies them to instruct the following courses.

  1. Emergency First Aid
  2. Standard First Aid
  3. Level A, C, HCP CPR with AED

All applicants must also have a current Heart and Stroke CPR Teaching certificate that qualifies them to instruct the following courses.

  • Level (A) CPR with AED ( adult only CPR )
  • Level (C) CPR with AED ( infant, child, adult CPR )
  • Level (C) Health Care Provider (HCP) with AED ( Nursing Students )

Opticianry Diploma Program

The Opticianry Diploma Program portfolio of the Faculty of Continuing Education invites applications for Instructors. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years' experience fitting and dispensing contact lenses. Must be a licensed eye care professional with good standing membership in the appropriate regulatory body. Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to facilitate adult learning. Liberal Studies

The Liberal Studies portfolio of the Faculty of Continuing Education invites applications for following:

Indigenous Studies:
Minimum qualification: Ph.D. in the subject area. 5+ years teaching experience at a post-secondary level.

Psychology:
Minimum qualifications: Ph.D. in the subject area. 5+ years teaching experience at a post-secondary level.

Science/Social Science:
Ph.D in the subject area (Astronomy, Natural Science or the Social Sciences) and 5+ years teaching experience at a post-secondary level.
