Key Performance Indicators (KPI):
Key Performance Indicators (KPI) measure how well Ontario colleges meet the needs of students and the marketplace and are used as a basis for college funding. KPI surveys are conducted annually by an independent body on behalf of the Ontario Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities and the colleges' umbrella group, the Association of Colleges of Applied Arts and Technology of Ontario.

- Common methodology has been used for the calculations of all program related information provided by all colleges;
- The data are effective as of April 2001, and are updated annually;
- The Approved Program Sequence Code (APS) is a number assigned for each program approved by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities.
