Welcome Email

When will I get it?

You will receive your Welcome Email a few days before the start date of the course. It will be sent to your Seneca email AND to any personal email you have included in Student Home.

What does it contain?

The Welcome Email is long, but full of important information pertinent to your course, so it is well worth your while to go through the whole thing. In it, you will find information such as how and where to log in to access your course, information about scheduling exams, buying textbooks, filing any accommodations you might require, how to communicate with your course facilitator, where to find the course outline etc.

What if I don't get one?

If you have not received your Welcome Email by the start date of the course, you should contact the Centre for Flexible Learning ( or 416-491-5050 ext. 24140).

Before you do that, please be sure to check your Spam/Junk Mail, and to make sure you have checked both your personal and Seneca emails. If you register after the course start date, it may take a day or two for our system to process your registration, so you will receive the Welcome Email about 2-3 business days following the day of your registration.
