International Offers of Admission

Seneca is proud to welcome thousands of international students from around the world each year to learn side-by-side with Canadian students. With more than 150 languages spoken on our campuses, Seneca strives to represent the global community that makes up Toronto.

At Seneca, we are committed to creating diverse classrooms as we believe students are more successful when they can learn from peers from diverse cultural backgrounds and can engage in a healthy exchange of ideas.

As a publicly-assisted institution, Seneca is required to admit domestic applicants (Canadian citizens or permanent residents) before consideration of international applicants. As a result, not all programs are or can remain open to international students.

For international students interested in studying at our Seneca International Academy, it is a dedicated on-campus academy specializing in education for international students.

We rank all our international applications based on the following criteria:

• availability of seats in a program
• country and region of applicant
• completeness of application at receipt
• quality of application – academics and/or English proficiency score.

Applications for January 2025 are now open and will be ranked based on the criteria noted. Offers will be released beginning March 2024 and due to the evaluation and ranking of high demand program applications, may take longer to process. Once an offer of admission has been issued, enrolment is only guaranteed when full tuition is paid prior to the deadline stated in the offer.
