Seneca Program: Art Fundamentals

Degree: Bachelor of Fine Arts

Seneca graduates with a minimum GPA of 3.2 are eligible for Year 2 entry into one of the following OCAD University Bachelor of Fine Arts programs: Criticism & Curatorial Practice, Integrated Media, Photography, Printmaking & Publications or Sculpture/Installation. Applicants must graduate by June for September entry with an overall average of 75 per cent based on OCAD U’s grading system. A portfolio is not required for admission; however, applicants must meet OCAD U’s English prerequisite and language proficiency requirements (if applicable). Students admitted through this transfer pathway will receive a block transfer of 3.5 first-year Faculty of Art studio credits and will be eligible to graduate with a Bachelor Fine Arts degree in approximately three years. Transfer credits in Arts & Science courses will be evaluated separately on an individual basis.

Applicants must apply through the Ontario Universities’ Application Centre by Feb. 1, 2024 for September 2024 start and must use the articulation agreement program code for the program they are applying to: Criticism & Curatorial Practice HCA, Integrated Media HIA, Photography HPA, Printmaking & Publications HBA, Sculpture/Installation HSA.
