Interactive Media Design

Jasmine Bashaj is an experienced design educator with more than 15 years of teaching experience. She is currently the Co-ordinator of Seneca Polytechnic’s Interactive Media Design and Honours Bachelor of Design in Interactive Media programs.

She has taught and developed curriculum for courses in the Interactive Media Design, Graphic Design, Art Fundamentals, Illustration and the Game Art and Animation programs at Seneca. Her industry-related background includes entrepreneurship, graphic design, branding, textile design, digital illustration, motion graphics and motion capture.

Ms. Bashaj holds an MA in graphic design from Falmouth University in the U.K., a diploma in Digital Media Arts from Seneca Polytechnic and certificates in cartooning and web design from George Brown College. She is an Adobe Education Institute fellow, a certified professional member of the Association of Registered Graphic Designers (RGD) and a member of the Interaction Design Foundation (IxDF).

Ms. Bashaj specializes in user experience and design thinking methodologies, focusing on inclusivity, accessible content and human-centered approaches.
