Jennalee Desjardins is a professional dancer, instructor and choreographer specializing in hip hop and waacking. She has successfully produced choreographic works for Dusk Dances, the National Art Centre’s Canada Day Celebration and Bollywood Monster Mashup 2015-2021. Ms. Desjardins has also worked in the theatre scene in collaboration with Outside the March Theatre Company on the much acclaimed Mr. Burns: A Post-Electric Play and with Duane Forrest for the critically acclaimed Climb: The Musical in 2017 and 2018.
Ms. Desjardins has been fortunate enough to perform and showcase works in Washington, Los Angeles, San Diego and Oakland, Calif. in the Culture Shock Choreographer’s Showcase. She is also a three-time recipient of the Culture Shock Canada Youth Outreach Award, for outstanding contribution to programs targeting at-risk youth through dance.
Ms. Desjardins is currently on faculty at City Dance Corps and on the artists roster for VIBE Arts. In 2020, she was voted Toronto's No. 1 dance instructor by Toronto Star’s Readers’ Choice Awards.
