Lorrisa Dilay is a professor in Seneca’s Fashion Business programs. Prior to this, she worked in the fashion business industry for 24 years and developed a strong background in buying, product development and merchandise planning. Ms. Dilay worked for world-class retailers and held positions such as buyer, brand manager, assistant general merchandise manager and director of planning. 

Before joining Seneca full time, Ms. Dilay taught part time at universities and colleges in the Greater Toronto Area, specializing in retail merchandise management. She provides students a “hands-on” view of business practices in the fashion industry and continues to advance curriculum in the area of omni-channel retail operations. 

She earned her bachelor of applied arts (retail management) at Toronto Metropolitan University, her master of business administration (marketing) at York University and a certificate in e-commerce management at the University of Toronto.
