Alan Elliot

Program Co-ordinator, Broadcasting – Television

Alan Elliot has worked as an audio engineer for more than 25 years. Originally from Scotland, he moved to Canada in 2003. His professional audio experience includes live sound mixing, studio recording and production of music, television shows and live radio concerts. As a live sound engineer, Mr. Elliot has mixed more than 2,000 shows with acts including Ed Sheeran, Sean Mendes and Florida Georgia Line. His recent work has included sound design projects for film and art installations.

Mr. Elliot has taught audio since 2011, first at Toronto Metropolitan University and then at Seneca since 2015. In addition to teaching audio in both the Broadcasting Television and Event and Media Production programs at Seneca, he has been the Program Co-ordinator of the Broadcasting Television program since 2021.
