Tina Cortese is the Chair of Seneca’s School of Media. Ms. Cortese has extensive experience as a professor and as a media executive. A two-time Gemini award winner, she was part of the launch team for one of the most widely recognized news channels in the country, CP24. She also served as the general manager and vice president of news programming for Citytv Toronto, executive producer for Breakfast Television, CityLine and multiple New Year’s Eve broadcast specials at Nathan Phillips Square. Tina’s educational achievements include a bachelor’s degree in radio and television arts from Toronto Metropolitan University and a master of education from Ontario Tech University.
