Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEI-B)

Overview

The Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEI-B) executive course is an engaging, intensive, eight-week program designed for leaders, human resources professionals and anyone dedicated to cultivating inclusivity within their organizations. This immersive course covers the core tenets of DEI-B, including the operational use of technology to promote equitable practices and many additional topics relevant to today’s organizational culture.

The curriculum consists of eight comprehensive modules. Each segment integrates the foundational theories of DEI-B with practical, real-world applications, providing participants with the insights and tools needed to create a vibrant workplace culture that values and celebrates diversity.

Program Delivery

The course will be offered online and available on a part-time basis, allowing you to work full time while studying.

This program will be created and delivered by NJ Global Consulting Inc., a DEI-B firm that is based in Canada and works with clients globally.

Final assessment and project: the DEI-B colloquium

Participants will be required to complete a capstone project presented during the final week.

Dr. Nafeesa Jalal

Dr. Nafeesa Jalal

Dr. Nafeesa Jalal is the Founder and CEO of NJ Global Consulting Inc. She has worked passionately to embed diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging into organizations for more than 15 years. Her firm proudly supports a client base from the public, private, non-profit, and academic sectors in Canada and globally.

With a PhD in Public Health, health-related organizations are an important part of Dr. Jalal’s portfolio, and her clients include two of the largest community hospitals in Canada, Trillium Health Partners and William Osler Health System. Outside of the firm, Dr. Jalal is a lecturer at Seneca Polytechnic in the School of Health Sciences. She is also a researcher, and certified as a Professional Capacity Builder, Trainer, and Facilitator through the University of Guelph.
