Jennifer holds a PhD in English from the University of Toronto. For many years, she coordinated Seneca’s four Learning Centres, and also wrote the department’s Policies and Procedures manual in conjunction with her faculty colleagues on the Learning Centre team. Jennifer also designed and ran Seneca’s Language Across the Curriculum initiative through funding from Seneca’s Centre for Academic Excellence. She teaches courses in poetry, Canadian literature, college English, the short story, business communication and a course she designed which examines the depictions of family life in literature. Jennifer has previously worked as an English co-ordinator at Seneca@York. She is also a published humorist.
