Naomi Kestenbaum

Honours Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies

“Teaching gives me a chance to pass on to others my excitement and enthusiasm for this fascinating and relevant discipline of psychology. I love interacting with students who always make me re-think what I think I know.”

Naomi teaches psychology in the Liberal Arts Program, and has been co-ordinator for the recently introduced Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies program at Seneca. She became interested in the field of psychology right from her first Intro to Psychology course at McGill University in Montreal. After graduating from McGill as a psychology major, she went on to complete her Master’s and PhD in Clinical Psychology at McGill. Following her graduate studies, Naomi practiced clinical psychology for 10 years before entering the world of teaching.
