Peter has a background in English literature, which he studied as an
undergraduate in Saskatchewan and as a graduate student at the
University of Toronto, where he specialized in the poet and painter
William Blake. At Seneca, he currently teaches children's literature
and business writing courses, as well as a cultural studies course on
the 1960s. He also previously taught a course on fantasy literature.
Before joining the faculty at Seneca, Peter taught a variety of academic
and business writing courses and literature electives at other
colleges, evaluated manuscripts for a literary agency, and spent several
years involved in a legal writing program.
