Application procedure and documents

  • proof of English proficiency (TOEFL score of 80 iBT, IELTS of 6.0 with no less than 5.5 in each individual band)


Open to all faculties: Students must take 80 per cent of their courses from one program, and can take courses from a maximum of two programs.

Credits equivalency

We use local credits: 30 European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) are equivalent to approximately 15 Canadian credits



Depending on your preferences, you can choose on- and off-campus housing options. As soon as you receive a letter of acceptance from Seneca, apply for on- campus housing. The space is limited.


Approximate monthly costs

All prices are in CAD.

  • residence: approximately $3,500 for one semester
  • mandatory Seneca health insurance: approximately $400 for one semester
  • study material/books: $400 to $900 per semester
  • food/drinks: $500 per month
  • transportation: approximately $110 per month (PRESTO)
  • students can expect to budget approximately $1,000 per month for all living costs

Airport Pickup Request

Seneca provides free airport pickup for all Seneca international students arriving in Toronto for their first semester of study. Any requests for an airport pickup must be made 72 hours in advance of the flight arrival in Toronto.
