Thanks to the generosity of the Seneca community, so many students received the support they needed to help them navigate some pretty unpredictable times.
Thanks to contributions from Seneca, the provincial government, and the Seneca Student Federation (SSF), 23,403 students received support payments to offset emergency needs due to COVID-19.
An additional 2,346 students who were impacted by COVID-19 received financial support thanks to our amazing Seneca community of donors, alumni, employees, community partners and the SSF.
And with the closing of our physical campuses, many students missed out on the much-needed on-campus food support provided by the SSF every semester. To help fill in this gap, Seneca Advancement partnered with the SSF to provide students with a $25 grocery store e-card. Over 4,200 students have received a $25 grocery store gift card.
We could not be more #SenecaProud of the Seneca community coming together to support our students.
