Overview
In this four-hour session, participants learn effective strategies from approved and certified Arcuri Group Situation Awareness Specialist (SAS) instructors to build and enhance their capacity to better understand and deal with the dynamics of random and potentially threatening events.
In partnership with Arcuri Group LLC, Seneca is now an official provider of the SAS professional certificate training program. Arcuri Group's SAS program sets the global standard for certification in the field of situational awareness with certificate holders and strategic partners in over 68 countries.
Arcuri Group's SAS program is designed to educate frontline healthcare workers, law enforcement, community services professionals and the general public in the craft of situational awareness.
Upon successful completion of this program, including an exam, participants will receive Arcuri Group's Situation Awareness Specialist (SAS) certification. In addition, SAS comes with free, ongoing annual training opportunities.
Entry Requirements
Students should have a good command of the English language.

Faculty Profile
Stephen Sadler, BA, SAS-MP
Stephen is a retired police sergeant from the Toronto Police Services with 30 years of dedicated service, including five years as Team Lead for CBRNE Response as a Certified Explosives and CBRN Technician. His background includes military service as an officer with the Royal Canadian Armoured Corps, Canadian Armed Forces Reserve. Internationally, Stephen performed as a mentor/advisor to the Commanding General in Badakshan Province in Feyazabad, Afghanistan.
