Updated resources provide quick online access to Seneca College expertise

Toronto, Jan. 30, 2014 – Reporters can easily find a full range of Seneca sources on everything from business, e-commerce, applied research and aviation, to behavioural sciences and forensics, thanks to a recently updated and expanded list on the Seneca website and an online tool produced by Ontario’s public colleges.

More than 130 Seneca experts from a vast range of backgrounds can now be found through the Seneca College List of Experts: Media Experts and the College Book of Experts: www.collegebookofexperts.org. Seneca experts stay on top of the latest trends through educational partnerships with industry or by continuing to work in their field while teaching.

The Seneca College List of Experts is organized by topic, while the College Book of Experts is searchable by college name, area of expertise, or by using an individual’s name.

“In today’s news environment, journalists need to know they can find quick access to experts on a wide range of subjects,” said Joy McKinnon, Seneca’s Vice President, Academic. “With just a couple of clicks, these resources help reporters find commentary, insight and information within seconds.”
