Hundreds of used plastic drinking bottles are hanging off the second-floor balcony of Minkler Atrium. Constructed by students from Seneca's Sustainable Business Management graduate certificate program, the “waterfall” represents plastic bottles sold at Newnham Campus each day.

The class initiative is aimed at raising awareness about plastics generated by the Seneca community, the need to reduce single-use plastics, as well as the incentives around reusable bottles and water stations to create a more Sustainable Seneca.

The installation, which took the students more than two hours to complete, will be on display until Friday, Feb. 8.
